Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP) and North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) are hosting the upcoming Energy Transition Workshop in Aberdeen on June 12th.  This is the first of two workshops being jointly hosted by NORWEP and NSTA, with the second taking place in Stavanger on 30th October.

The workshops are intended to allow industry to share challenges and enabling solutions in order to drive forward decarbonisation and North Sea Basin net zero projects in a cost-effective way.

The event will focus on four main Lower Emission Technology and Energy Transition themes:

  • Electrification
  • Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS)
  • Incremental decarbonization/emissions reduction
  • Offshore CO2 capture & utilisation

Operators will provide a high-level overview of technology and cost challenges to a diverse supply chain audience.  This will be followed by more in-depth facilitated dialogue with those supply chain organisations on a theme-by-theme basis, to identify where solutions exist and how they can be deployed.  The intention is that the detailed discussions will take place involving technical engineering rather than business development personnel, as the aim is to find technical solutions.

NORWEP and NSTA invite you to join the Aberdeen workshop with a view to participating in as many of the themed areas where you have solutions within the identified themes.

Due to high levels of interest and limited places available, please register as soon as possible if you wish to join us as registration will close once places are filled.
