Chile is one of South America's most stable nations with market-oriented and growing economy. In addition, Chile is an attractive market for Norwegian companies looking to provide solutions and services for production, storage and transportation of green hydrogen.

Innovation Norway together with Norwegian Energy Partners are organizing a market visit to Chile referred to as “Trade mission Chile”.

The target is to take a group of Norwegian companies to Santiago de Chile and Antofagasta region for a three days market visit to explore Chilean Hydrogen Market. This event will be followed up with tailormade events.

Meeting Chilean Government Entities to discuss Chile's hydrogen strategy, support and initiatives.
Workshop with Chilean Mining Societyto discuss the integration of hydrogen into the mining sector.
Attend a networking Reception with key stakeholders in the hydrogen sector.

17 April

Meetings with main developers in Chile (local and international players).
Flight to Antofagasta.

18 April

Field visit to Antofagasta: A region known for its mining industry and renewable energy potential. Antofagasta is home of several H2 projects.
Visit to Green Hydrogen hub of Antofagasta.
Visit to Mejillones Port.
