Webinar on the availability of vessels for OW development in Poland and the Baltic region

Poland's offshore wind target for 2030 is almost 11 GW. The first stage of this development was started by 5 developers that have been awarded CfD-s for 5,9 GW. In the second stage two auctions, in 2025 and 2027, are planned for 2,5 GW each. The first electricity from the Polish OW farms is expected in 2026.
 
To enable such a vast growth a well-functioning supply chain is a must, and this includes vessels such as Wind Turbine Installation Vessels (WTIV), Foundation Installation Vessels (FIV), Cable Laying Vessels (CLV), Service & Operation Vessels (SOV) and Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV) that will be available for installation and service purposes.

An analysis of the demand and supply of such vessels has been performed and published in the form of a report. This is an opportunity to hear from and meet Tim van der Swaan, one of the authors of the report - Offshore wind vessel availability until 2030: Baltic Sea and Polish perspective. The webinar will present the key findings regarding vessel availability in the context of the development of the OW sector in Poland and the Baltic region.
