Objectives:

The objectives of the seminar was to present and discuss the global and regional LNG /hybrid and green energy market situation. The markets have changed the last year, and we showed market opportunities in the energy sector with focus on distribution, small scale solution and use in maritime and energy production sector. 

The seminar was divided into three sessions, and we discussed the following themes:

Session 1
Global markets and trends

• The International LNG market and supply to Europe, Rystad Energy
• Greener Shipping – Challenges and Strategy for Shipping 2030 and 2050, Norwegian Shipowners’ Association
• LNG market from a terminal operator perspective in light of the situation in Europe following the energy crisis in Europe, Reganosa LNG Terminal, Spain

Session 2
Transition from LNG to zero emission

• Transition of Energy Gases to Zero Emission, Norconsult
• Rethinking LNG delivery, Stena Power & LNG Solutions

Session 3
Overview of CCUS projects with a panel debate on how far these projects have come

• Northern Lights
• Stella Maris - CCS Project, Altera Infrastructure
