Multiconsult offers engineering design and verification of design of fixed substructures including anchors, riser support, floatation tanks and foundation (piled or suction buckets).

When subject to arctic and cold climate conditions structures need protection (winterization measures) and shielding due to working environment and technical integrity. This includes heat tracing and special considerations given to loads and abrasion from sea ice and ice impact on structures, sea spray icing and snowdrift.

Through decades of R&D activities within arctic and cold climate in general, special methodologies have been developed. By integration of metocean data, hydrodynamics and arctic marine technology knowledge we assure that the design of steel structures is reliable, safe and cost-effective.
