Klaus Udesen

Klaus Udesen has been working with wind development for more than 25 years with a dedicated focus on all technology areas including due diligence, merger and acquisition, new developments of onshore and offshore windfarms, which also includes technical deep dive on many turbine designs used today including high focus on safety and lean installation. The past couple of years has been used to focus on Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) targeting subsidy-free offshore wind farms. Klaus has been SteerCo representative for Statkraft and Vattenfall in the Offshore Wind Accelerator (OWA) together with the nine biggest global offshore developers. The past year has been used for redesigning a GE onshore wind platform for the nearshore marked. Klaus holds an education as Mechanical Engineer from Odense Teknikum in Denmark.
