Norsafe Gravity Escape System (GES) freefall lifeboats are suitable for all types of ships and offshore installations. They provide a secure and protected means of escape for persons on board vessels or platforms and are skid launched by a specific davit.

Our freefall lifeboats are system type approved according to standard applicable regulations, including Polar Code and low temperature standards issued by authorities and third parties. The company has performed a number of full-scale tests and exercises in both simulated and realistic arctic conditions in order to document product performance and mitigate potential risks in these hostile environments.
