Field development studies are essential to identify the requirements for proposed development projects, hence revealing any feasibility challenges and opportunities.

Aker Solutions has performed field development studies for arctic areas covering the Beafourt Sea, West Greenland, Northwest and Northeast Russia, Sakhalin, the Barents Sea and the Caspian Sea. Both platform (fixed and floating) and subsea developments have been evaluated in the different studies.

Through several years of field development, Aker Solutions have developed extensive experience with a broad overview of the feasibility, cost and HSE issues related to typical development blocks for shallow and deeper arctic waters.
