Argus® Turbidity/TSS Monitors for Unmanned platforms with a typical maintenance frequency of every 12 months are dependent on accurate and reliable measurement systems.
Argus® Turbidity/TSS Monitors provide operators with in-line measurement of the cooling system on the converter stations. There are several cooling systems used, one of them being water (seawater). There is a need to measure the content of seawater used for cooling, such as algae, biological material, and other pollutants (particles). In general, it is important that the water is clean to avoid wear and tear on pumps and equipment.
Seawater/cooling water may have been exposed to chlorination so that both particle measurement and chlorine compounds may become relevant when the water is released back into the sea.
