Value proposition

Managing and documenting energy efficiency initiatives is key to ESG visibility and shareholder communication. ISO 50001 is the international Energy Management System (EnMS) standard for structuring corporate and platform/plant-specific energy efficiency initiatives. DNV follow a three-step process starting with a gap analysis of the current EnMS against the requirements and best practices of the ISO50001 standard. By engaging stakeholders across the operator’s organisation, DNV assesses how the platform/plant currently functions and pinpoint existing strengths, weaknesses, and focus points, enabling the operators to manage their energy efficiency and GHG reduction initiatives.
