The Minox®Compact Systems (two-stage) is based on gas stripping of water with co-current contact through static mixers in a two-stage system. The stripping gas is nitrogen, regenerated through a catalytic reactor and circulated by a blower/compressor in a closed loop. The Minox®Compact system can be designed to achieve residual oxygen levels of less than 20 ppb without the use of any oxygen scavenger chemicals. The system can be operated at any reasonable water system pressure and temperature, which gives the Minox®Compact System the advantage to eliminate the downstream booster pumps for injection water in IOR applications.
