Our engineered flanges can be used on turbine towers and nacelle areas in offshore wind farms. These low-maintenance flanges offer significant weight and space savings over conventional flanges. When comparing L-type to SPO-L:
- SPO-L not affected by the flatness deviation
- SPO-L better fatigue resistance (bolts)
- SPO-L better fatigue resistance / stress amplitude (neck)
- SPO-L has much better protection from environment conditions for the bolts
