Markets

Guyana, Suriname

Guyana and Suriname have rapidly emerged as pivotal players in the global oil and gas industry, presenting unparalleled opportunities for international collaboration and investment. Guyana's oil production has soared to approximately 500,000 barrels per day (bpd) and is on a trajectory to reach 1.5 million bpd within the next two years. Concurrently, Suriname has secured around 2.2 billion barrels of oil equivalent (boe) in recoverable resources since 2020, positioning it among the top frontier oil

Both nations are actively seeking to develop their service and supply sectors to support this burgeoning industry. Norwegian companies, renowned for their expertise and innovation in oil and gas services, are well-positioned to contribute significantly to this development.

We invite you to join our upcoming oil and gas mission to Guyana and Suriname, where you will:

  • Engage with Key Stakeholders: Meet with government authorities, operators, and main contractors to gain firsthand insights into the industry landscape.

  • Understand Local Business Practices: Acquire a comprehensive understanding of conducting business in Guyana and Suriname, including regulatory frameworks and market dynamics.

  • Explore Partnership Opportunities: Connect with potential local partners to explore collaborative ventures and expand your business footprint in these emerging markets.
