Discovering oil & gas opportunities in Angola

Angola is the second largest oil producing country in sub-Saharan Africa and Norway’s biggest economic partner in the region.

With an output of approximately 1.37 million barrels of oil per day (bpd) and an estimated 17,904.5 million cubic feet of natural gas production, mostly from offshore fields, oil represents more than 90% of the country's total exports. Thus, this market poses many business opportunities for the Norwegian oil and gas industry with its world-class expertise and know-how within the sector.

Total and Equinor are both leading operators in the development of the oil and gas sector in Angola, and they will in this webinar give us some updates on current projects and future business opportunities. 

Further, the Angolan National Gas, Fuel and Biofules Agency (ANPG), will give us an outlook of the future plans and prospects of the national oil industry. We will also have the Norwegian Ambassador to Angola give us an overview of the situation in the country in the light of covid-19.
