Value proposition

Emissions monitoring is an emerging challenge for operators with lack of accuracy potentially adversely affecting carbon pricing impacts on asset economics. IKM’s Methane Emissions Quantification (MEQ) service provides survey methods to develop bottom-up models of emissions which can then be verified by top-down survey.

Traditional IR cameras have a sensitivity of 60 g/hr, versus the IKM system at 0.01 g/hr. Improved sensitivity reduces reported emissions by providing accurate leak rates. Over an installation, these could correspond to 20 tonnes/year saving. Improved quality of data allows for better decision making and remediation.
