Value proposition

To increase lifetime and reduce maintenance costs to structural elements within the wind industry TP-Products have developed a tower flange which have much higher capacity than traditional flange design and solve following problems:

• Fatigue in bolts

• Local bending of bolts

• Loose nuts due to vibrations and dynamic loads

• Bolt corrosion

What distinguish TP-Products’ bolted flanges from the traditional bolted flanges is that we are looking at bolts and flanges as a system where the flange design is made such that most of the forces pass through the flange surfaces and the bolts are thereby exposed to very low dynamic forces. Robust design reduces weld deformation problems.
