To increase lifetime and reduce maintenance costs to structural elements within the wind industry TP-Products have developed a transition piece flange which have much higher capacity than traditional flange design and solve following problems:

• Fatigue in bolts

• Local bending of bolts

• Loose nuts due to vibrations and dynamic loads

• Bolt corrosion

What distinguish TP-Products’ bolted flanges from the traditional bolted flanges is that we are looking at bolts and flanges as a system where the flange design is made such that most of the forces pass through the flange surfaces and the bolts are thereby exposed to very low dynamic forces.
