Solutions presented by:

OSC – Offshore Simulation Centre

  • OSC helps developers, EPCIs and ship owners de-risking the most advanced offshore installation projects.
  • High quality visual simulation using real physics for a high-end virtual representation of a real scenario using live data. Sustainability and cutting emissions in the ocean space, but the risk and costs are high related to investing and developing new sustainable solutions
  • OSC enables customers to simulate planned operations and make it possible for the crew to practice in a safe environment, reducing risk of accidents and increasing safety
  • OSC enables customers to pilot-test new sustainable solutions in a real-world ocean environment at a much higher pace and to a lower cost, which speeds up the transition towards sustainable solutions
  • Intuitive human interface for full lifespan. Saving time and money. PLAN, INSTALL, MONITOR, SERVICE & DECOMMISSION.

Windport AS

  • Windport is ideally positioned as one of the closest ports to serve the development and operation of Sørlige Nordsjø II. With our unparalleled location and very short distance to open ocean the integrated port areas; Gismerøya, Strømsvika and Sodevika can provide 200 hectares land available for industry development with potentially 2.000 meters of deep-water quay front with depths down to 50 meters.

Karmsund Port

  • Karmsund Port Authority is in the process of developing significant port infrastructure with focus on offshore wind at the seafront with ample hinterland area immediate adjacent and located in the largest industrial cluster in Western Norway with 60 years’ experience in servicing offshore industry. The region's competence base is founded on university and higher education institutions in the vicinity and the industry is actively developing human capital through the offering of apprenticeship programs. Easy air, road and sea communication and all facilities necessary for permanent and temporary staff. With a total area of 600,000 m2 developed today and a target of 1.5 million m2 developed by 2032, Karmsund Port Authority is a unique port in the northern part of Europe with a firm plan founded on experience and capability to execute large offshore wind projects in the near future.
  • At the core of Karmsund Ports strategies and plans is Environmental Protection leadership, demonstrated throughout the organisation and its investment philosophy.
  • We are currently developing Haugesund Windport Haavik. A site which will be developed exclusively for Offshore Wind where we, through input from developers, OEM’s as well as T&I companies and by applying AI technology including digital twins intend to launch one of the world’s most efficient Offshore Wind ports. Efficiency measured in cost, area utilization, quality in operation and with the highest focus on the safety and the environment we impact. Built to serve both bottom fixed and floating wind farm developments. It's location at the South-West coast of Norway in sheltered waters, yet with proximity to the North Sea, enable the port to serve offshore wind development across the North Sea and the Baltic.

Moreld Ocean Wind

Moreld Ocean Wind is a pure play independent technology, product, and solutions provider for the Floating Offshore Wind Industry, established for the purpose of executing large, complex offshore wind projects on an EPCI basis.

Our vision is to enable the industrialization of the industry by designing, fabricating, assembling, and installing the offshore floating units in a highly efficient manner by adopting a modular approach which will enable installation of an entire farm in one season.

In April 2021, Moreld Ocean Winds invested in Ocergy Inc., a design and technology company that provides sustainable offshore solutions through its OCG-Wind floating foundation design, one of the most promising Offshore Floating Wind designs in the world. The design has been developed with industrialization and low cost in mind, and boast the following distinguishing features:

  • Low steel weight and low cost
  • Low draft of less than 10m, enabling marshalling in existing facilities with quay.
  • Prefabricated modules that ensure fast-track assembly and maximize local content.
  • Proven mooring system technology and fast installation and hook-up
  • Turbine agnostic

The partnership between Moreld Ocean Wind and Ocergy integrates one of the most promising OFW technologies in the world with the strong EPCI leadership to develop a fully industrialized supply chain to serve wind farm developments worldwide.

Moreld Ocean Wind is building a robust supply chain to deliver offshore wind projects and has established strong working relationships with co-located Global Maritime and Moreld Apply, and with Origo Solutions.  These formalized relationships enable us to draw on resources while ensuring a One Team approach.

Qualification of key component suppliers, fabricators, assembly yards and T&I companies is ongoing.

Moreld Ocean Wind is owned by HitecVision, a leading private equity investor that has been active in the North Seas region’s energy industry for more than three decades.

Moreld Ocean Wind is certified by DNV for both quality (ISO 9001) and environmental (ISO 14001) management systems
