Team Norway at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024: Showcasing Norwegian innovation on the global stage
The Team Norway delegation had a large presence at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024, presenting cutting-edge Norwegian technology to the international market through a series of seminars, panel discussions, and a standout presence at the Norway Pavilion. Supported by the NORWEP renewables team, Norway’s strong presence highlighted its leadership in the global energy transition.
With over 200 delegates from more than 80 companies, the Norwegian delegation engaged with key stakeholders, developers, and decision-makers in a variety of forums. Topics such as floating wind, HVDC & HVAC substations, hydrogen integration, and digitalization in offshore wind were at the center of discussions. Numerous B2B meetings between Norwegian companies and potential clients were organised, with many ongoing at the time of publication.
The Norway Pavilion also served as a hub for successful networking events, creating valuable business opportunities for Norwegian firms. A prestigious reception hosted by the Norwegian Embassy provided a further platform for industry leaders to connect.
WindEnergy Hamburg 2024 once again underscored the critical role of networking and reaffirmed Norway’s innovative contributions to the wind energy sector, strengthening international collaborations and driving the industry forward.
The Norwegian pavilion at the exhibition is a dynamic showcase of the country's leading offshore wind developers and supply chain companies, highlighting their cutting-edge innovations and industry expertise. This pavilion not only enhances the visibility of participating companies but also promotes valuable connections and collaborations within the global renewable energy sector.
